Music: joy. This is the simple message that the Danubia Orchestra conveys at its youth concerts during an extraordinary singing lesson led by Liszt Prize-winning conductor Máté Hámori. The orchestra now brings this experience "home" on demand, to give an entire class an unforgettable cultural experience - or you can even visit the orchestra's home in Óbuda.
Danubia, one of Hungary's leading symphony orchestras, is 30 years old this year and is still one of the youngest professional orchestras in the country. They always try to look at the often stagnant forms of classical music with fresh eyes, and their special programming and youth and social projects have made them one of the most distinctive artistic ensembles in recent years.
What good is music in our lives? What is the difference between good and bad music? Why did it evolve? What do Bach and the Beatles have in common? You'll find the answers to many questions in an unusual singing lesson with lots of music and humour.
