A drop of the beach in Budaörs: rows upon rows of sea fish, ice-filled counters, crabs and small delicacies. It could be the docks of Marseille, but 10 km from Budapest, the fish market in Budaörs is no different. The founder and owner of the legendary fish market, Péter Palotás, offers to show you and 3-4 friends around in exchange for your support of our foundation, telling you about the history of fish gastronomy (for example, why did we get bream and later salmon?), the operation and creation of the market, or even about the microbiological experiments and product development research that goes on in their food lab. During the tour, you can choose from a variety of fish on offer, which you can then prepare and eat together with the market's chefs.
